This platter is where The Blue Collection began and it is still my favorite.

I had no idea what colors would emerge from the kiln. The mystery and the unknown made opening the kiln even more exciting. When I finally saw this platter, I couldn't believe it.

I picked it up and danced around my studio.

That was my very first reaction.
