About

Our story

Welcome to Kiiroya Pottery.

Kiiroya (季色屋, pronounced Kee-row-yah) means "a place of seasonal colors." Inspired by the rivers, forests, and mountains surrounding my home near Mt. Hood, Oregon, I create one-of-a-kind handmade pottery that brings the beauty of nature into everyday life.

My Japanese heritage quietly influences my work—not through traditional Japanese styles, but through an appreciation for organic forms, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the beauty found in simplicity.

Each piece is shaped by both my hands and the natural flow of the clay. Rather than forcing it into perfection, I allow the material to guide the process, giving every piece its own unique character. I hope you'll experience my pottery not only with your eyes, but also with your hands.
