Collaboration

Mt. Hood Baking Co. is one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy breakfast or lunch on the weekends. My friendship with owner Susie led to this special collaboration, and it has been a joy to see my handmade mugs become part of the bakery experience.

"Ah! The mug!" Yes—it's that mug!

The tiny espresso mug wasn't originally meant to be sold. I made it as a color sample for Susie, and she displayed it in the bakery's  pastry display case alongside my business card. Before long, customers began asking if they could buy one. Their enthusiasm inspired me to make the little espresso mugs available here on my website.
