Some places stay with you forever. Cenote is one of those places for me. When I visited Mexico, I saw a cenote for the first time. The water held countless shades of blue, floating bubbles, and layers of light dancing beneath the surface. It was more beautiful than words can express.

This platter holds my memory of blue water, dancing light, and the excitement of discovering a hidden wonder created by nature. I wanted to capture that feeling in clay. This piece is my way of remembering that moment and celebrating the beauty of our natural world.
